On Monday the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago and the University of the West Indies will sign a Memorandum of Understanding and a Contract between the two organisations.
The collaboration between the Authority and the UWI will facilitate training in Child Protection and Safeguarding for the Authority’s Care Workers and the placement of graduate students of the Department of Behavioural Sciences at the Authority for the acquisition of practical training and applied knowledge.
The event takes place on Monday 7th August, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Centre for Language Learning, The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
Remarks will come from Chairman, Board of Management of the Children’s Authority, Dr Carol Logie, Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Authority, Sheldon Cyrus, Deputy Principal of the University of the West Indies, Indar Ramnarine and Minister of Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster Roy.
