Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio scored and Ben Chilwell was sent off as Real Madrid beat Chelsea 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the Champions League yesterday.
However, despite this, Frank Lampard believes Chelsea can produce a “special” night and overturn the deficit against Real Madrid in order to advance to the semi-finals.
It’s doubtful however whether even Lampard’s players believe this as it requires them doing something they have not done in four games – scoring a goal.
