A call has been made for unity and togetherness from Caribbean people in order for the food value chain to be effective.
The appeal comes from one of the co-founder of the Caribbean Supermarket Association, Vernon Persad.
It is aimed at sustaining and preserving the state of regional food security.
Speaking with News Power Now, Tuesday, Mr Persad admitted challenges will always be present and will get tougher.
However, Mr Persad is remaining confident a shift can be created.
