The Joint Select Committee on National Security has commenced an inquiry into safety and security of citizens and public concerns about the performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
Essentially, the Committee will consider:
(i) The public perception of safety and security in relation to the TTPS;
(ii) The public’s primary concerns about the performance of the TTPS;
(iii) The public’s satisfaction with ease of access to TTPS services and responses; and
(iv) Improvement of the TTPS performance, oversight and governance structure.
The Committee invites your written submissions.
