A 21-year-old Cumuto man was shot and wounded while playing cards on Saturday night.
The victim, Jovanni Price of Caratal Road, Cumuto, was playing cards with two other friends in the gallery of their home around 9.10 pm, when a man approached and opened fire.
The victim’s relatives rushed to the gallery and discovered he was shot in the leg.
His friends placed him in a private vehicle and took him to the Arima District Hospital for medical treatment.
Crime Scene Investigators later found and seized 10 spent 9mm shell casings at the scene.
