Newly crowned Road March winner, Bunji Garlin is elated yet humbled by his most recent achievement, following the official results from the Trinbago Unified Calypsoians Organisation (TUCO).
His contribution “Hard Fete” was played 135 times at various judging points across the country.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Izzso, Bunji, real name Ian Alvarez reflected on the support extended to him in the creation of the hit as he thanked his wife and fellow soca star Fay-ann Lyons-Alvarez.
He also expressed appreciation to his fans as he noted a particular comment of encouragement.
Garlin said the sound was written for the people.
