Bunji and Nailah lead Roadmarch race

Bunji Garlin’s Hard Fete and Nailah Blackman and Skinny Fabulous’s Come Home appear to be leading the race for the Road March 2023 title.

Ronnie and Caro, the first popular band to cross the stage at the Queen’s Park Savannah yesterday, blasted Come Home as the masqueraders geared up for their moment to jump on the stage.

However, as officials gave the band permission to cross, DJ’s changed tack and played Hard Fete.

K2K Alliance and Partners, led by twin sisters Karen and Kathy Norman, played Come Home as their revellers crossed the stage.

Lost Tribe soon followed with trucks interchanging as some played Hard Fete while others blasted Come Home through their speakers.

Like Yuh Self by Patrice Roberts and Machel Montano was also heard along with Engine Room by Olatunji but both lagged behind in the challenge for the Road March title crown.

The race for the Road March title continues today.
