A man identified as Zynika Adams was shot dead in Diego Martin on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 5:25pm, as Adams had arrived at a house at Waterwheel Road to visit his 5-month old baby boy.
It was shortly after his arrival to the residence, that two masked men showed up and shot him in the front yard.
Adams, 23, was taken to the St James Medical Facility where he was pronounced dead.
He was shot 29 times.
At the scene police officers retrieved twelve 9mm shells, ten 40-calibre casings, and five other bits of metal.
