Buccoo Reef Users And Public Urged To Follow Guidelines

Users and the general public are being asked to cooperate with the guidelines in place for their safety and enjoyment when visiting the Buccoo Reef Marine Park in Tobago.

The Tobago House of Assembly Department of Marine Resources and Fisheries, reveals the park is a restricted Marine Protected Area open daily from 10 am until 5:30 pm.

Within the Marine Park:

Reef tour boats cannot exceed passenger capacity.

No loud music (above 60 decibels) or alcohol consumption is permitted.

Stay within marked navigation channels when boating/transiting.

No passengers are allowed on the upper decks of reef tour boats while in motion.

No jet skiing is permitted to operate within the MPA.

No fishing of any kind is allowed within the MPA.

Do not remove or interfere with mangroves, seabed, fish or birds.
