A rogue grandmother and her friend broke their legs after sneaking into a water park in the UK at 2am during a drunken night out.
The drunken duo snuck into the water park and splashed some water down the slide from the top to ensure they didnt get stuck and then jumped on.
What the pair didn’t know however was that the waterpark crew placed a barrier at the bottom of the slide when the park is closed.
The couple slammed into the barrier at the bottom of the slide leaving the woman with a shattered shin bone while the man shattered both his ankles.
The pair were left there for almost two hours as they banged against the slide for hours in a bid to attract attention for help.
Police eventually showed up after neighbours reported the noise believing that teenagers had snuck into the waterpark.
The woman remained in hospital for two-and-a-half weeks recovering after having a metal rod bound to her shin and plates inserted in her foot.
She won’t be able to walk for another six weeks.
No police action was taken against the pair.
The pair appeared on British television this week to warn people against the dangers of drinking and breaking into parks.
