Arima police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body at Block 1 in Wallerfield on Monday morning.
The discovery was made by villagers, who immediately contacted police.
When police arrived, they discovered the lifeless body with several gunshot wounds.
Several spent 9mm shells were found at the scene.
A District Medical Officer viewed the body and ordered its removal to the Arima Hospital Mortuary pending investigation.
