A 19-year-old man is expected to appear before a Master of the High Court today, Thursday 11th April 2024, after he was charged with Murder.
Exekiel Greaves, of Phase 1, Beetham Gardens, was charged by PC Durity of the Besson Street Criminal Investigation Department (CID), following the advice of Director of Public Prosecutions, Mr Roger Gaspard SC.
The accused was arrested by officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region One Office after they conducted and concluded extensive investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of JOHN DYER, 23, of Second Avenue, Phase 1, Beetham Gardens, who was stabbed at his home on 27th February 2024 and succumbed to his injuries at the Port of Spain General Hospital on 5th March 2024.
The investigation was supervised by W/Ag ASP Bridglal, Inspectors John and Mongroo and Ag Insp Ramsumair, all of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region One.
