Barking dogs save a Tunapuna man from being gunned down

A 24-year-old Tunapuna man has to thank some barking dogs for saving his live, after he escaped being shot and killed by two armed men outside his home on Friday night.

The man reported that he was speaking to someone on his cellphone, while standing outside his Stratham Lodge Ext. Tunapuna home, when he was alerted by dogs barking.

When he looked in the direction of where the barking sounds were coming from, he saw two men with high-powered weapons running toward him.

The suspects fired several shots in his direction but he escaped unharmed.

Crime Scene Investigators found and seized 30 spent 5.56 shell casings at the scene.
PC De Four of the Tunapuna CID is probing the incident.
