Bad road conditions appear to be the reason for several protests in Point Fortin this morning.
News Power Now received reports of blocked roads.
The roads were said to be blocked by debris which was set afire.
Reports say Cap De Ville, Warden Road and New Village all had fire road blocks this morning.
News Power Now spoke with point Fortin Maxi Driver Association representative Brent Munroe who explained that the discontent likely stemmed from the state of the roads in the area.
He added that the road repair work was carded to commence more than a week ago but has not yet started.
However, Mr Munroe is hopeful that it will be completed before school reopens.
