A man identified as Kriston Bobb was killed in a car accident in Couva on Saturday morning.
Bobb, a 27-year-old backhoe driver, of Mc Bean Village, Couva, was driving a white Hyundai H100 north along the Southern Main Road around 3am, when he crashed into a wall near Rahim Masjid in McBean Village.
Bobb was pinned inside the vehicle.
Firefighters tried to free him, but he died at the scene.
His passenger, Carla Babwah, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital.
