Autopsy on Hannah Mathura’s remains concludes she was shot in the head

A gunshot wound to the head.
That’s what an autopsy determined killed 18-year-old Hannah Mathura seven years ago.

Pathologists made the conclusion after examining the skull of Mathura, whose skeletal remains were found buried one foot deep at the back of the family home in Valsayn South on Tuesday.

According to reports, officers are now looking to determine who used the gun to take the teenager’s life and where it is now.

This as the two suspects in custody, were not holders of a Firearm Users Licenses (FUL).

A 62-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man who are close relatives of the murdered teenager, were arrested on Thursday after her skeletal remains were found in a shallow grave at the family home in Valsayn earlier this week.

Investigators said they could be facing multiple charges as the investigation continues.
