Head of the People’s Empowerment Party Phillip Alexander believes that his party encouraged persons to come out and vote yesterday.
While he acknowledged the low voter turnout for the local government elections, he insisted the hard work his party put in leading up to the elections stimulated voters.
He made the comments on the Power Breakfast Show this morning.
He said claims by the UNC that a vote for the PEP was a vote for the PNM and a lost vote for the UNC was ridiculous.
He claimed the UNC put in effort to damage the PEP for the election.
