An inquest has been ordered into the circumstances surrounding the death of 39-year-old Renford Lavia.
As a result, a 29-year-old suspect of Lendore Village, Chaguanas, has been released from custody.
This follows advice received from Acting Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Joan Honore-Paul, on Saturday 20th March, 2021.
Lavia, of Enterprise, Chaguanas, was stabbed to death following an altercation at his home on Friday 12th March, 2021.
The suspect, a security guard, was subsequently arrested in connection with his death.
