President of the Public Services Association, Watson Duke has suspended the association’s 1st VP, Ian Murray and its General Secretary, Shalene Suchit-Dwarika.
In a video posted to his Facebook page, Duke said he did what was necessary as he was not given any clear information on what both members were doing regarding campaigning for the upcoming elections and work to be done for PSA.
Duke said he spoke with both members about their attendance and duties with the PSA; however he said to this date was not given an itinerary to indicate how they will be working.
He said members, while suspended will still be given full salary, but can no longer perform work for the PSA.
