One Fatality A Day, CMO Reports Seven Day Rolling Average For Covid19 Deaths

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Roshan Parasram, is reporting one Covid-19 death per day over a seven day rolling average.

New infections on a weekly basis stand at fifty-eight.

Dr Parasram made the disclosure while speaking at a news briefing held at the Diplomatic Centre, today.

Dr Parasram said there have been over two hundred positive cases of the virus for the period January 2^nd to January 9^th.

Deaths from the virus locally now stand at four thousand, two hundred and ninety seven.
