Children are still being infected with Covid-19 and for the most part their parents are unvaccinated.
This was disclosed by Thoracic Medical Director at the Caura Hospital, Dr Michelle Trotman.
Dr Trotman made the revelation while speaking at a news briefing held at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s today.
Dr Trotman urged parents to adhere to the public health measures which have been stipulated, adding that wearing masks, washing hands, getting vaccinated and boosted will go a long way in the fight against the virus.
