The Regulated Industries Commission commenced its face-to-face public consultations initiative on its Draft Determination for the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Sector 2023-2027 on Thursday.
RIC said this was done though a meeting with the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Retired Persons.
This meeting follows two media events which kicked off the consultations this week.
In a media release, the RIC said the TTARP executives had an opportunity to express their views and concerns on the proposed increase in electricity prices detailed in the RIC’s Draft Determination.
The RIC team was able to immediately address some of the issues highlighted.
All views from today’s meeting were documented and will be carefully considered in the RIC’s Final Determination for the Electricity Transmission and Distribution Sector.
