Disruption In Water Supply In Point Fortin On Wednesday From 5am To 10pm

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advises customers in the Point Fortin area there will be an interruption in their water supply on – June 22nd  between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.

WASA says this has become necessary to facilitate planned repairs to a leaking 20-inch diameter transmission pipeline, along the Southern Main Road, Point Fortin, in the vicinity of the Dunlop Round-A-Bout.

Areas to be affected include: Point Fortin, Vance River, Cochrane, South Central Road, New Village, Cap-de-Ville.

In a media release WASA says the Authority advises that it may take up to twenty-four hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize following the completion of these works.
