All Covid positive persons who have passed away are recorded as Covid positive despite the location of their passing.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram, speaking at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update on Wednesday stated that regardless of where someone passes away, if the death is as a result of complications caused by the covid virus then the death is recorded as due to Covid.
