Unconfirmed reports suggest the mother of one of T&T’s loved Soca artistes was arrested following a confrontation with customs officers.
According to reports the altercation happened on Saturday 23rd January when officers of the Customs and Excise Division went to a location along the North Coast Road, and allegedly discovered a quantity of wrapping paper.
The report also states that the woman who is also the daughter of a popular Soca icon became very loud along with the male counterpart who was there when the incident occurred.
They were later arrested and may be charged for undeclared Customs goods.
