Officers attached to the Western Divisional Task Force found and seized 1193 grams of marijuana, during an anti-crime exercise on Sunday 10th September, 2023.
Between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., officers proceeded to Upper Covigne Road, Diego Martin, in the vicinity of a place known as ‘U Road’ and conducted a search of a forested area and found and seized a white and green crocus bag with two brown rectangular shaped packets of marijuana.
The exercise was sanctioned by Snr. Supt Henry and ASP. Gyan, spearheaded by Insp. Grant and Sgt. Carmona and supervised by Ag/Cpls Dominique, Hunte and Hollingsworth.
The drug has an estimated street value of $89,000.00
