Eight additional COVID-19 related deaths have been confirmed in Trinidad and Tobago.
According to the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) daily clinical update, the victims are one elderly male, four elderly females, two middle-aged males and one young adult female. This brings fatalities to 1,629.
The victims had the following medical classifications;
Four persons had multiple comorbidities, including a mix of high blood pressure, diabetes, kidney disease and spinal damage
Three persons had one comorbidity – namely high blood pressure, obesity and asthma
One individual had no comorbidities
