An autopsy has been ordered after a 72-year-old man died in a vehicular accident in Sangre Grande on Sunday morning.
The victim was Lennard De Verteuil of Pinto Road, Arima.
Police said that at around 5.45 am, a white Mitsubishi Lancer crashed in a drain on the southern side of the road and ending up tilted on its left side.
On checking, De Verteuil was discovered lying across the front passenger seat. He died at the scene.
