5,000 bottles of hand sanitizers donated to MoS by Christle Limited

Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds received a donation of five thousand (5,000) bottles of hand sanitizers on behalf of the Ministry of National Security, for distribution to its various Divisions.

The items were donated by Christle Limited and presented by its Deputy Managing Director Mr. Jonathan Garcia, in a brief handover ceremony at the Ministry of National Security’s Head Office on Abercromby Street, Port of Spain.

Also present to receive the items were Permanent Secretaries (Ag.) Mr. Gary Joseph and Ms. Nataki Atiba-Dilchan.

Mr. Garcia indicated that Christle Limited donated the items as a token of appreciation to members of the Defence and Protective Services. He noted that national security officers are at risk while working as part of Government’s front-line response team to manage the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hand sanitizers will be distributed to the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service, Trinidad and Tobago Immigration Division and the Ministry’s General Administration Division. Christle Limited has previously made a separate donation of hand sanitizers to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.

Minister Hinds thanked Mr. Garcia for the generous donation, stating that the items will assist in the Ministry’s continuing efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the Defence and Protective Services.
