The Tobago Tourism Agency Limited (TTAL) is collaborating with the Division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, to help facilitate front-line workers and employees interested in taking advantage of a COVID-19 vaccination drive prioritizing the tourism industry.
The Agency has been communicating directly with registered tourism stakeholder groups and key organisations, including the Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association, transportation and tour operator associations, and the various ports of entry to collate information regarding the number of employees in the sector willing to be vaccinated in a two-day exercise on Thursday June 17 and Friday June 18, 2021.
In addition to collecting information directly from stakeholder groups, the Tobago Tourism Agency welcomes independent tourism workers interested in receiving their vaccine to register their interest in an online form at www.surveymonkey.com/r/TourismVaccination
Employees from all areas of the tourism industry are encouraged to register for this vaccination drive, including workers in the accommodation sector, transportation providers, tour guides, travel agents, craft vendors, event organizers, caterers, restaurant and bar staff, dive operators, and reef boat operators.
Registered persons will be contacted by representatives from the Division of Health for their vaccination appointment, and persons will only be accepted at vaccination sites by appointment only on the designated days and times.
