3 farmers robbed while working their lands in Edinburgh Village

The hunt is on for three bandits, who robbed three farmers at gunpoint while they were working on their farmlands at Ghany Trace, Edinburgh Village.

Around 3pm on Monday, the gunmen approached the farmers and announced a robbery.

They tied up the victims with duct tape, then proceeded to rob two of the farmers of their cellphones while taking away the keys to a white Nissan Nivarra, licensed TDB 7578 and a white Kia 2700 pickup, TEB 3764, that the farmers had.

Reports state that two suspects drove off with the vehicles while the third suspect kept watch over the victims for some time before he left the scene.

It was not until 8pm that the victims were able to untie themselves and contact the police.
