Police officers have seized a total of one hundred and ninety-five grams of marijuana during exercises in Port of Spain and Northern Divisions on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023.
During the Port of Spain exercise, officers performed roving mobile patrols and a walkthrough exercise in the Mango Rose, Basilon Street, St.Paul Street, Nelson Street, Duncan Street, George Street, Duke Street areas. While at Duncan Street, Cpl Joseph found and took possession of a black plastic bag containing 100 grams of high grade marijuana hidden under a sink in the vicinity of a building located at the “Plannings”.
Also in the Northern Division, officers conducted an Operation Blue Line Exercise in the Arima District, where officers found 95 grams of marijuana in a black and white pouch, at a public access toilet located along Lord Kitchener Boulevard. The exercise was coordinated by ASPs Pitt, Trumpet, Mattos and Insp Mascall.
