Officers of the Southern Division arrested 14 persons while conducting various exercises around the division, yesterday.
Officers of the Southern Division Task Force conducted a stop and search exercise between the hours of 9 am and 4:30 pm on 30th November 2023, targeting several drug blocks.
Eight persons, including one 72-year-old woman from Princes Town was arrested for Possession of Cocaine and seven men between the ages of 43 to 63 from Marabella and San Fernando, were arrested for various drug-related offences.
Later that day, officers of the Southern Division, Area West, conducted a warrant exercise in the San Fernando area between the hours of 10 am on 30th November, 2023 and 3 am the next day, where they arrested six men between the ages of 37 to 52 on various outstanding warrants.
These exercises were coordinated by Snr. Supt Hospedales, Asp Phillip and Insp. Ramlogan.
