$130,000,000 is still being owed to the Housing Development Corporation by tenants.
The disclosure comes from Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Pennelope Beckles.
Minister Beckles indicated this while speaking at the HDC’s San Fernando Office today.
The Housing Minister said the outstanding amount of money if paid will allow the HDC to do so much more in its operations.
Minister Beckles said the situation existed even before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Housing Minister appealed to delinquent tenants to honor their commitments to the HDC.
