108 new COVID-19 cases in T&T takes the active positive toll to 5,789.
The Ministry of Health recorded 316 persons in hospital, 88 in step-down facilities, 140 in state quarantine and 5,277 in self-isolation.
As at Tuesday July 27, five deaths have been recorded.
One elderly male, 2 elderly females and 2 middle-aged males with co-morbidities; bringing the total to 1,048.
