There are reports that a woman was stabbed to death on Sunday night by a close relative, following an argument at her Simeon Road Petit Valley home.
The incident took place at 7:45pm opposite Universal Street.
The woman, identified as Nikeisha Alleyne, was taken to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
A female suspect is said to have been detained in connection with the crime.
