Woman robbed of iPhone while attempting to save a puppy

A 25-year-old woman was robbed of her iPhone while attempting to save a puppy.

The incident took place in East Port of Spain on Sunday.

Around 11.55 a.m. the woman from Central Trinidad had parked her car at Piccadilly Street near Calvary Hill, East Port of Spain and exited in order to attend to a crying puppy that had been struck moments earlier by a passing car.

While in the midst of doing the good dead, a bandit walked up to her and robbed her of her Apple iPhone 14 Plus valued at $8,191.

He then calmly walked off.

The woman then abandoned her rescue attempt, got into her car and made a report to the Besson Street Police Station.
