WASA Says Mechanical Problems At Freeport Treatment Plant Responsible For Low Pressure Or No Water Supply

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of the Freeport area, served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant, who are experiencing low pressures or no water supply that this is due to reduced flows from the facility, caused by mechanical problems impacting Well #15.

In a media release WASA said extensive repair works to return the facility to full production, are expected to be completed by February 7^th , 2023.
