WASA Issues Notice Of Supply Disruption To South West Trinidad Customers

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of South-West Trinidad, there will be an interruption in their water supply on Wednesday 13th Julybetween the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

WASA in a media release said this is in order to facilitate repairs to a leaking 24 inch diameter pipeline, at LP #55 along the North bound lane of the Point Fortin Highway (in the vicinity of the Mondesir Overpass); as well as planned electrical maintenance work at the South Oropouche Booster Station.

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take up to twenty-four hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request.
