WASA Cites Electrical Problem For Interuption In Supply For Customers Served By Tucker Valley Pumping Station

The Water and Sewage Authority cites an electrical problem as the reason for customers in parts of North-West Trinidad served by the Tucker Valley Pumping Station, currently experiencing an interruption in their supply.

WASA says emergency repairs currently underway are expected to be completed on Tuesday July 18th at 6:00 p.m.

Affected areas along Western Main Road from Teteron Barracks, Chaguaramas, to La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, include: Abbe Poujade Street, Haig Street, School Street, L’Anse Mitan, Big Yard, Amowsville, Sanora Park, Shorelands, La Horquette Branch Road, The Park, Gulf View Drive and Glencoe.

The utility says it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following completion of these repairs.
