Warner says Rowley “is no Manning”

Jack Warner is throwing back the shade at Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley.

This after the PM stated during a television interview on Thursday that Warner is no saviour and will not be swaying any votes for the United National Congress.

Rowley said the UNC-ILP-NTA accommodation will instead send Trinidad and Tobago over the precipice they claim to want to save the country from.

However, Warner snapped back at Dr Rowley hours later and dismissed the PM’s comments.

He rejected Dr Rowley’s assertion that he cannot help the Opposition UNC/National Transformation Alliance (NTA) coalition to defeat the PNM in the August 14 local government elections.

Warner added that Dr Rowley “is no Patrick Manning”.

He claimed that the current PM “has neither the class, the vision, nor the intelligence with which Patrick Manning was endowed.”
