Vehicle belonging to Coast Guard officer found riddled with bullets

Investigators are trying to determine a motive for the shooting of a vehicle belonging to a member of the T&T Coast Guard.

The coast guard officer reported to police that he parked his Black Hyundai Creta in front of his home in Malabar on Sunday night, secured it and went inside where he retired to bed.

However, around 5:30 am on Monday, as the officer was making his way out to leave for work, he noticed his car had several bullet holes on the front windshield.

The officer subsequently contacted the police and made a report.
