TT’s Jereem Richards Not Into Thursday’s 400 Meters Finals In Hungary

TT Sprinter, Jereem Richards, did not qualify for the finals of the men’s 400 meters at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest, Hungary today.

The final will be held on Thursday.

Richards  ran a time of 44.76 seconds in the first heat and finished fourth.

Antonio Watson of Jamaica won the race in personal best of 44.13 seconds.

Vernon Norwood of the USA also produced a personal best of 44.26 seconds to finish second.

Meanwhile, Kirani James of Grenada finished second in the second heat in 44.58 seconds and qualified for the final.

The event was won by Matthew Hudson-Smith of Great Britain in a 44.26 seconds.
