TT RideShare says they are stopping service in East PoS due to rise in crime

In light of recent events in which TT RideShare drivers have been victims of the criminal elements that plague the country, the hired taxi service has taken the decision to implement two changes that will affect customers in East Port-of-Spain

TT RideShare via their Facebook page will implement that rides requested TO and FROM certain areas of East Port of Spain have been temporarily restricted, as well as pick up areas for persons within the vicinity will now have to access a driver from the following areas.

1.Belmont Police Station
2.Siam/Apsara
3.Port of Spain General Hospital
4.NIB office.

Also effective September 2019, only verified riders will be able to request rides which will be a valid ID and a photo ID along with an active email address.
