TT RideShare driver, Segun Ekundayo was shot and killed earlier today within the Belmont area.
According to a release sent by management at TT RideShare, the driver who was shot, was not on active TT RideShare duty, having completed his last trip sometime earlier in the day.
TT RideShare is at this time unable to comment on the circumstances of his death as those details have not yet been confirmed.
According to reports Segun Ekundayo died in hospital while being treated for the gun shot wound.
TT RideShare extends our deepest condolences to his family and his friends at this time.
They are also urging all drivers whether on or off duty to please be vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times.
