TT prepared to support Grenada and SVG following passage of Hurricane Beryl

After Trinidad and Tobago weathered Hurricane Beryl without significant damage, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley has assured that this country will do all it possibly can to assist our Caribbean neighbors who have been impacted.

Dr Rowley made a post to his Facebook page on Monday afternoon.

Expressing gratitude, Dr. Rowley thanked CARICOM colleagues for their offers of assistance even as the storm approached.

The Prime Minister also announced that he is ready to assist our Caribbean neighbours who were affected.

He said T&T survived Hurricane Beryl “without too much bruising.”

“As we remain prepared to support Grenada and St. Vincent and the Grenadines during this challenging period, we are reminded of the saying, ‘there but for the grace of God go I.”
