TT hosting Chinese entrepreneurs interested in tenanting Phoenix Park Industrial Estate

InvesTT is hosting a delegation of 10 Chinese entrepreneurs to Trinidad and Tobago from 18th – 25th October, in collaboration with the Beijing Construction Engineering Group (BCEG).

The delegation comprises top representatives of manufacturing and technology companies in the areas of furniture, shoes, construction equipment and environmental technology.

The group, led by BCEG’s Chief Investment Promotion Officer, Cui Yi (Kelvin) is specifically interested in tenanting eTecK’s Phoenix Park Industrial Estate and made it their first stop there on 19th October. They had the chance to tour the Estate and view the operation of Summit Luggage, a Chinese tenant that currently manufactures travel luggage for export via Port Point Lisas to international clients.

InvesTT’s Vice President, Investments (Ag.) Nishal Nagassar shared with them the key aspects of investing in Trinidad and Tobago and the facilitation services offered by InvesTT during the selection and establishment process.

The group was eager to learn more about the incentives offered to foreign investors as well as the benefits of tenanting eTecK’s Phoenix Park Industrial Estate.

Key executives from e TecK were at hand to provide pertinent details regarding the infrastructure and advice on the tenant application process.

The group was also welcomed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on 20th October.
