Phil Simmons is the new head coach of the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) franchise.
TKR, who are four time champions of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) made the announcement via a social media post on Tuesday morning.
Simmons quit as West Indies head coach last October, after the regional side’s World Cup exit.
His last assignment was the two Test matches in Australia which were in November last year. The regional side lost the series 2-0.
