The Tobago House of Assembly is supplemented by $8,000,000.
The Standing Finance Committee this afternoon approved the recommendation made by the government for the THA to be given additional financial support.
Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, said the money will be used for recurrent expenditure and the Public Sector Investment Programme.
Minister Imbert said the THA has also found itself in a debt situation with outstanding payments to various creditors.
Some of the money Minister Imbert said will be used to meet these obligations.
