Tabaquite students, parents worry as mudslide prevents accesibility to sit CSEC exams

Intense rainfall has this week made worse an unresolved mudslide that obscures the Guaracara/Tabaquite Road, blocking access for hundreds of residents and commuters alike.

Students have had to miss sitting their CSEC exams because of the inability to get to school to do so because of the mudslide.

Speaking with News Power Now this morning MP for the area Anita Haynes said that they had been in contact with the ministry of Works before the start of the rainy season , as well as a matter on the adjournment in Parliament on the issue.

She said she has spoken to parents of the students who have had to miss exams and the anxiety level is quite high.
